CREATIVE BEGINNINGS WITH A SHARP EDGE
As a talented food professional with a sharp wit and radiant presence, Jennifer began her career in high-profile store design and branding. But in the early 2000s, she followed her passion for food—diving headfirst into the culinary world and never looking back.
NEW YORK ROOTS
A born and bred New Yorker, Jennifer grew up in an immigrant community that was deeply steeped in tradition and food. As early as age 5, Jennifer stood on a kitchen chair alongside her grandmother, helping her with the smallest tasks that her little hands could handle. It was the start of Jennifer’s deep appreciation for food as a sensory language—one that needs no translation. This language shapes everything she does, whether styling, cooking, plating, or creating recipes and Jennifer speaks that language fluently.
CULINARY TRAINING
A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, Jennifer’s path has taken her from the line at the Michelin-starred Perry St to the rolling hills of Tuscany, where she taught cooking in a 300 year old olive grove agriturismo. She’s led immersive food tours across New York City and worked as a “secret shopper” for restaurants, evaluating food and service with a discerning palate and keen eye for detail.
LIFE TODAY
Jennifer lives in Manhattan with her beloved cat, Chloe and her 72 houseplants. As a meditative and creative practice that is essential to her life, she creates analogue collage using recycled and found materials. Jennifer continues to find joy in the everyday magic of food—and the way it connects, comforts, and inspires across cultures and tables.
